Hmm.. I'm currently watching on a dark CRT monitor so the blue colour looked too dark (ugly), but it's meant to be light blue? But the rest looks pretty nice :-p
Since it was an ignorant movie, I tried to mimic the Dreamscape 2 (beta) effect when a player is moving on the long, dd2.
Just duplicate the clip and make the layer on top in blue or another color, composition mode add or something. Then play around with some other settings, swirl, etc.
