Movies you should be looking forward too:
(By the way, I’m taking these movies in order of how they are placed on quicktime.com, there has been no fiddling what so ever based on personal choice)

From 20th Century Fox:
1- Epic Movie
Sure, Date Movie was horrid, the scary movies were an abomination to film, but nonetheless, it is entertaining and joyful. And if the jokes don’t make you laugh, then seeing Carmen Elektra will definitely make you give a standing ovation, whether your sitting down or not will be up to you .

2- Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Amongst my buddies, I was actually probably one of the only guys to like this movie. Why? I can’t say why. Maybe I just like superhero movies, or maybe it was Johnny Storm’s charisma and flair that seduced me into appreciating the movie, not on an intellectual and artistic basis, but definitely on an entertainment one. Or maybe, just maybe it was all about Jessica Alba. The commercial looks good, I’m a fan of the comic and hopefully they won’t disappoint.

3- Live Free or Die Hard
I think everybody is looking forward to this one. In my experience, when it comes to the Die Hard Series, I never quite liked the first in the Nakatomi Plaza, although the police officer, who ironically enough plays the same role on the 90’s TV series Family Matters, did make me chuckle more than once. Now the second, well what can I say, it was packed with action and I was young when I saw it. Lastly, the third die hard, or as they call it, With a Vengeance. When was the last time Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis were together, on screen, living it up in an action packed swearing extravaganza? Pulp mother fucken Fiction. Granted I’m not particularly keen on Quentin Tarrantino, but the roles that Jackson and Willis played (even though they were only on screen in the same shot once or twice) were phenomenal. Truly showing us how high the top of their game was. Now what did this combo do to us in Die Hard 3? Well artistically, it’s not on the same level as Pulp Fiction, but if you want to see a butt load of stuff get blown up and such, go rent it. Now this second one also features Justin Long, if you don’t know who he is, go rent the following movie: Waiting. Waiting co-stars him with Ryan Reynolds, and it is without exaggeration one of the funniest movies you will see. But don’t eat at a restaurant before the movie.

4- A Night at the Museum
Since the movie is already out, I will just say the following. When has Ben Stiller disappointed us?

5- Reno 911: Miami
God this looks funny.

From DreamWorks SKG
1- Blades of Glory
Will Farrell is back, sadly with Jon Heder. The movie itself looks hilarious, like any other Farrell movie mind you, however I just can’t get over the fact that Napoleon Dynamite is in it. What do I have against NP? Well personally, I hated that god forsaken movie and no one in their right mind liked it either. Do the test; watch the movie alone, without anybody, just yourself in your room or something, you will not laugh, since it’s not funny. If you watch the movie after, whether it be right after or another day, with your friends, make sure you’re with your usual friends, I guarantee you will laugh at the jokes (unless you’re in a shitty mood or you’re saturated). I don’t know why, but the movie is funnier in a group, but alone, it sucks. So I like to keep it at that.

2- Norbit
The Nutty Professor all entertained us, how long is Eddie Murphy going to drag this joke for?

3- Shrek the Third
I can’t really say negative about this, except I hope it’s up to par with its predecessors and Happy Feet.

From Rogue Pictures
1- Balls of Fury
This looks like it’s going to make me laugh so hard that my abs are going to hurt and possibly my jaw (you know when you laugh so much and you just want to close your mouth?). If you watch the trailer, granted it looks ridiculously stupid but common now, you have Christopher Walken, the king of the pool hall junkies and the master of the More Cow Bell and you have Cheese Burger Eddie. What can go wrong?

2- The Hitcher
I actually went and see this one. I have to say, the movie sucked. I hate Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay, they don’t know how to direct/produce good movies, it actually appears as their target group (the group in which they are aiming the film out to make money) are they 12 year old boys who want to see blood and guts and random times. Now that the negative is out of the way, Sean Bean is such a badass in the movie, he plays his role well, too bad the movie sucked because he was the bomb. Also, Sophia Bush is hot beyond anything you can image, those legs give her body perfect curves and ahhhh, I have to clean the drool off my keyboard.

From Fox Atomic
1- The Hills Have Eyes 2
The first one sucked, I see no reason to make another. What? Another family is getting lost in the desert filled with freaks?

From Fox Searchlight
1- Fast Food Nation
This movie actually looks pretty good, it might bring out some views on fast food that were blurred from Super Size Me. Talking about Super Size Me, although the content of the movie was good, it was so biased it’s not even reasonable. Don’t get me wrong, I know Mc Donald’s is horrible for your system on the long run, but what he did was peanuts. Think about it, the guy has a vegetarian girlfriend, so basically he’s eating 100% healthy everyday for who knows how long. Then out of nowhere, he bites into some processed meat and he vomits, what did he expect? Please, most of the people on these forums can chow down a super sized meal without blinking; it takes him like half an hour.

From Lionsgate
1- Hostel part 2
Give me a break, what was so good about the first that they needed to make a second? Have blood, guts, and torture scenes become the new pornography for the 21st century? Honestly, just look at the poster for the movie, its sick (not the msn sick which means cool). Eli Roth should be buried alive somewhere, in the same hole, you could probably throw in the actors who are dumb enough to partake on these roles.

From MGM
1- Rescue Dawn
Well some of you might know that Christian Bale is probably my favorite actor so undoubtedly I will see this movie. That’s not even to mention the fact that it’s directed by Werner Herzog. If you don’t know who Werner Herzog is, don’t consider a career in editing or anywhere in the cinema industry please, you’re ridiculous. And for those who have heard of him, go rent the movie Grizzly Man and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

From New Line
1- Mr. Woodcock
I’m not too keen on Sean William Scott, really, I just want to see Billy Bob Thornton. Now some of you might know BBT from serious movies like Monster’s Ball, but I’m not a fan of his serious roles, really I enjoy his dirty ones like in Bad Santa, if you haven’t seen Bad Santa yet, go rent it immediately.

2- The Number 23
I DON’T WANT TO SEE JIM CARREY IN A MOVIE EITHER THAN A COMEDY!

From Paramount
1- Freedom Writers
How many times do I have to see this scenario? I’m watching the beginning of a trailer when suddenly, I can read the words: based on a true story. As of that point, I know the movie is pretty much bullshit. I keep watching though just incase it might be reasonably good, but no, it’s not. It’s the sad story of a white woman teaching minorities (black, Spanish, Asian, etc). I can’t wait for the movie where a black man is teaching poor white kids and he’s crying about it because his life is so hard.

2- Shooter
I’m actually a pretty big fan of Mark Walberg. I don’t know why, but his movies are never bad, they aren’t necessarily good (like the Big Hit), but they aren’t disasters.

3- Zodiac
I like the actors in this movie, don’t get me wrong; Robert Downey Jr, Jake Gelehall(?), Mark Ruffalo, but I do however find it sad that it took an indie movie to make it big before Hollywood could produce a movie about this notorious UNCAUGHT killer.

From Sony Pictures
1- Ghost Rider
I love Eva Mendes, I like Nicholas Cage, and I like the comic, but the way they visually massacred this movie is so so so sad. It looks like second grade visual effects; it’s a shame because in this day and age, a movie that needs so much visual effects (the main actor is constantly on fire) could look better.

2- The Messengers
Looks scary as hell, I don’t want to see it because I want to go to bed with slize and pava at night without having to look around and turn on the nightlight.

3- The Perfect Stranger
Halle Berry and Bruce Willis. Hmmmmmm. Take out Bruce Willis and you’re left with one of the most beautiful woman on the planet. If you’ve seen swordfish you know what I’m talking about.

4- Spider Man 3
God I can’t wait for this one. I am definitely going to sleep outside the theater for this baby. The only things that may bug me: in the 2 first spideys, there was so much god damn crying, get over it. Secondly, my buddies and I have attempted to guess the plot outlines for each spider man movie (there will be 5 in all), I know there’s a slim chance it will remotely work like that but it does make good sense: in this spider man movie, the symbiot is taking over Spidey and in the end, he manages to remove it. In the last scenes, Topher Grace will pick it up and become venom; the movie will end with that. In the fourth one, it will be Spider Man against Venom (and probably some secondary bad guys), in the end, Spidey will win, and Topher Grace (he plays Eddie Brock) will end up in jail, in a cell. Now the symbiot will come and destroy the wall, allowing Eddie to escape the facility, but as Eddie and the symbiot our leaving, a peace of the symbiot will stay stuck on the bar or something and the guy in the cell next to venom, who’s name is Cletus Kasady will touch the piece of symbiot and it will attach to his body, he will then become Carnage. In the fifth Spider Man, it will be venom and carnage versus Spider Man. That’s what we got, can you do better lol?

I'm too tired to add more, but I should mention the Invisible, 300, etc. I'll try to get some more tomorow.

Some of the movies i saw recently :

Saw 3 - pretty gruesome movie. :)
The Grudge 2 - dissapointing movie. i loved the 1st part. this has a stupid plot, and fails to scare.
Pulse - don't bother.
Apocalypto - amazing movie. added to my fav's.
American Pie 5 (The Naked Mile) - why didn't they just make a porn movie? the amount of nudity would be almost the same.
Click - not as funny as i expected.
The Night At The Museum - its alright, more on the childish side.
The Departed - awesome movie.
The Butterfly Effect 2 - Fails to be as good as the first part, which is like my fav movie.
