That would be cool, but only when you have time and fun doing it, cuz most people on regular PCs won't notice it (except if you change s.th.) :D

Do you know today first time in my life I've found FAQ on this site? And read about SPMA for example? :D Right now I know this:

FAQ wrote:
This award will give your movie great publicity and some great feedback from the style crew and regular users at sp.com.

Please change the color of new message in the guestbook or just change the icon because it blends with the site.

Wait, what is wrong with the flash menu exactly? High system req? Laggy? Not suitable for smartphones or something?

Even after all this time, it still looks awesome.

Low priority: The comment entry box is sized too big (the width) on the Poll Voting/comment page.

Suggestion with low priority, because it's hard to do:

An outbox for sent messages would be cool, because I always tend to forget what I sent and then get back s.th. like "indeed".

Well it could work like this:
The row is stored in the database until sender and receiver both deleted the message (meaning s.t.h like DELETE FROM table_name WHERE id=id AND (sender_deleted OR receiver_deleted); UPDATE table_name SET sender_deleted = TRUE (or receiver_deleted, depends on who does it) WHERE id=id;)
Ordering the query this way should help avoid race conditions (hopefully), since MYSQL doesn't have proper transactions afaik.

Edit: The above doesn't work, still race conditions :-(
So maybe don't do it, unless you want dead entries in your database due to race conditions :-(
If the ACID model is implemented depends on the Storage engine your MYSQL database uses :-(
