Change deathnotices color

#1 - 1. Sep 2018 00:35
Hello, I'm asking for help in this forum, because I already don't know where to search for it.

I was watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADyVrXpoPao and I can't find how to change that font color in deathnotices. Is there anyone who knows how to change it or knows any tutorial for it? I would really appreciate it!

I assume it's default? But amplified by his colour settings?

If you don't want to use the same colour fx, you might be able to change the deathnotices directly in CS:GO with the Panorama UI:

I'm pretty sure he has said he changes the colors somehow, instead of them being 'amplified by his colour settings'. Just no idea how he does it.

You should ask him on Twitter, he's a helpful guy.

Oh yeah, I just realized blue and red aren't the default colours of CS:GO...

There is a site that lets you customize the deathnotices and printing out an image file you can use, but I have forgotten the link. But it should also be possible with the Panorama debugger feature I linked above.

This movie was released before Panorama. Dec, so not sure if that link will help OP.  I'm sure he went into the CS files much how we used to with 1.6 and customized it there.  Not sure how though.  I pinged him and linked this thread.

The Panorama Debugger method, it is easy when you figure it out.

I should maybe have commented, but we figured it out. The debugger that Valve hid for us makes this a much more straight forward approach. (Once you've gotten a bit accustomed to it)

Prior to the Panorama update you'd have to set up and write configs that would alter hud css which aren't available(or even valid anymore) now.
