Cutting videos up

#1 - 19. Jul 2018 15:20
Hey guys,

So I'm currently working for a company where and we need a video banner, now I'm still okay with after effects but I was wondering: is there an easy way to cut up videos into snippets so I can send them to my boss (to see which he likes). I mostly have free CC stock footage but those are a bit too long to show the boss, this is why I want to cut them up into short snippets. I know AE can do this but I'm wondering if there is a (free) method to doing this efficiently.

Dedicated editing software like Premiere, Vegas, Final Cut etc should be faster to work with. Don't know any free ones unfort. Could you maybe just use the 30 day trial of Premiere?

But tbh if you're just shaving of time at the beginning and end of some video clips using AE isn't too bad as long as you're using shortcuts (cmd + shift + d for example)
