Dec 2016 16:34 So I was lecturing some students the other day, and during one of the breaks this conversation happened. Student: Espen, are you a gamer? Me: I play now and again, but not as much as I used to. Student: What did you used to play? Me: Back in the day I played a lot of Counter-Strike. Student: Ah, cool. CS:GO? Me: Haha, no, before that. Student: Oh you mean like CS: Source? Me:...no I mean before that, like 1.5 and stuff. Student: Oh... wow. And it occurred to me that a lot of players today have probably never heard of the older versions like 1.6 Now I feel old! btw, HI!

Dec 2016 12:51 Interesting, for me it was REALLY WEIRD but flattering when I was watching my 14 year-old cousin doing exactly what I did when I was 14, editing on Sony Vegas and recording frags and uploading them on youtube. But he uses CS:GO and it just brings me back the memories :X. He alsoÂ apparently makes money off it while I never got a single cent. Kids these days :X. Oh and he has an Alienware
