HLTV fragtext like POV demo

#1 - 13. Nov 2016 10:12
Hello guys im searching for removing the hltv borders and making the fragtext as same level as in POV's. I have HLTV records and i tried to remove black bars. It doesnt remove at all. Only removes upper. And fragtext is lower. I wanna remove black bars and make fragtext in eye heigt. I looked old threads. But all links were crashed. I can find nothing. I use 800x450 resolution. How can i fix it? :(

Please be aware that this will remove the borders from the images captured with HLAE, but they will still be displayed on the screen.

If you read the page I linked there are two commands, the latter (mirv_deathmsg offset 40) fixes it to in-eye height.

As said there the borders will be only removed in the files captured to disk when using HLAE.
In case you never captured with HLAE have a look at this:

the height off the frag notice should change as soon as you use the mirv_deathmsg offset command, so try more extreme values like 0 for example to see it, but 40 is the default in-eye height, that's why it's given on that page.

Only the borders won't be removed on-screen, only on images captured with HLAE.

As said you need to use HLAE / AfxHookGoldSrc for the commands to work, which is why I linked the First Steps tutorial page.
