I honestly can't say if this is impressive or not. When it comes to 3D effects and models I'm in the dark. I like your style though, the bizarre theme you have got there. The creepy snowman was especially nice.

Swpp you definatly got some technical skills and thats very good!
I would work more on design and composition. Your renders, animations need some final touches to make them better.

I'm not saying that you have no knowledge in these fields. Just work more on them and you will see the difference.
Also change your presentation style. When I see your reel, it reminds me of your old cs times. Avoid that, make a change, try to step onto next level I would say. Make it maybe more subtle. Avoid using too much lens flares, blinkings etc.

You have to be more specific when you say work more on design composition.. i think I work a fair amount on the 3d comps , yea a could work more to make it more detalied but thats not entirly up to me,everytime I create a scene I have to make a estimate based on the detail (faces and polygons) how much the render would take , depends on what PC you have too... my max crushes every 10 mins if the scene its too detalied ...
Yea i could work more on the design and comp in ae , but right now i dont focus on that anymore so I keep it more basic.
My CPU doesnt allow me to use high quality/detalied render settings / mats ... I already spend days on a render ...
Yea I dont focus enough of animation , I do just basic stuff when comes to animations , 3D Animation kinda takes a lot of time so I wanna focus more on the comp of the 3D scene than the animation , same I use basic animation , just to deliver the ideea of animated (for now)...
Eh this reel was more too put those 3d models out there , nothing to special ...
i edited it like this cuz was the only interesting way to edit some images in Vegas, didnt want to wasnt more time to work those images in some motion graphics in AE bla blabla .....
