Need Help with Quality!

#1 - 19. Nov 2006 16:21
First off.. These are the settings I'm using:
For the clip:
FPS - 29.970
1 Square Pixel ratio

Rendering Settings:
Saving as a wmv
Best Rendering Quality
Bitrate VBR
Windows Media Video 9
Image size = 800x600 (My in-game CS is the same)
Pixel ratio - 1.000
Frame rate - 29.970
Seconds per keyframe 3
Average bitrate 4M

My video quality looks like crap. Link posted below.. Anyone know what the prob could be?

imo is 4M a little to low. Try a higher bitrate.

try use 5 bitrate... or try Quality VBR and drop it to 80 present between 90 % but the size be bigger in Quality VBR and the quality higher but i prefer bitrate VBR 5 Mbps

it looks like your clip is interlaced or mixed. probably mixed
In vegas put deinterlace method to blend fields or interpolate to get much better quality.

And I didn't like the colors very much. just mo. (my opinion)

Mark7805; can you (or someone else here) please tell me how to record ingame sound in CS 1.6 like you did? I would really get that quality on the sound from the game! Which program do you use?

OT: You should try to render the file as .avi and use a template with full-resolution rendering quality: Best, Motion Blur Type: Gaussian and Deinterlace method: Blend Fields.
But probably you have allready done something like this ;)
