Remove scoreboard

#1 - 7. Oct 2009 20:53
Yes, I know this is weird but for some reason I can't remove the scoreboard ad anymore. I've tried using HLAE and democleanup.exe and on _SOME_ demos it just doesn't work. Anyone have a WORKING democleanup.exe that you have tried RECENTLY or do you have any ideas what the problem might be? I have updated steam and newest HLAE etc. etc. I don't want to use an external program like col demo player and I was hoping there was a way around this without hexing :<

It's so much fun hexing 40 demos...

EDIT:
This is fun.
Hex editor can't find "showscores", it can find "score" but that's something different I guess.
Col demo player, I ticked the "remove showscores", copied the .dem before I closed the player.
In addition to all this I've tried HLAE and democleanup.exe SO WHY THE HELL DO I STILL GET THE SHOWSCORES? YES, I've used originals on each attempt...................

EDIT 233:
Hytex helped me. Appearently the "+score" was the problem... THIS CAN BE CLOSED TY!
