what should this command line be set to for those resolutions?
echo Crop(?,?,-?,-?) >> "%mypath%\%mymovie%.avs"
and what resolution should i use. I'm not too familiar with x264 compression.

AVISource("movie.avi")
Crop(0,4,-0,-4)
ConvertToYV12()

That's whay I use in megui. If your uncompressed clip has the resolution 960*600 then you have to use: Crop(0,4,-0,-4) to make it work. Your final clip will then be 960*592.

But if you use the first three lines it should work out for you, change "movie" to your clip's name.

the whole cropping is based off the number 16.

for 960x600:
960 does divide non-decimally by 16, 600 does not. The closest we can get is 37x16=592. Because it is 592 and not 600, we need to crop 4 off each side.
960x600 crop:
(0,4,-0,-4)

if you actually recorded at 960x592, you would not need to do anything special as each number divides by 16.
960x592 crop:
(0,0,-0,-0)

or something to that effect im sure i messed something up by the way i said it
