Xvid codec problem

#1 - 21. Sep 2007 16:56
I downloaded Xvid codec and rendered an .avi clip (which i rendered in Vegas 7) in VirtualDubMod to Xvid. At first when i tried to open, it gave me an error of a missing DLL file. Okay i downloade that and i got it opened, BUT there is only audio, no video. Anyone got a solution? I've tried downloading different codec packs but nothing seems to work. Tried opening with BSPlayer, WMP, VLC, Divx, NeroShowtime....

Did you compress it before you put it into Vegas?

Do you have FFDSHOW ? If so try removing it and installing xvid again.

I compressed it at first with VideoMach to uncompressed. Rendered to .avi in Vegas then rendered with VirtualDubMod to .xvid .

Yes i have FFDSHOW, i tried re-installing it. Didn't work. Nothing has helped thus far.
