Where did the independence in moviemaking go? Do some tests with different settings or just search google for a proper explanation.

I seriously wonder what you searched for... I tried "xvid settings explanation" and got this page as third entry. I didn't read the article so I dunno if it's any good, but saying you tried to find something can only be a lie.
