960x600 problem

#1 - 5. May 2007 18:20
ok i've read all the other posts on the forums but it still isn't working for me.

I have powerstrip, i've created the resolution, and the new res appears on my desktop as an option, but i still only have 1280x720 as an option in cs on widescreen...

I've also tried the command -w960 -h600 -window but it sends me back into 640x480 or just stays at the same res.

I've tried using the custom res in application on hl launcher 2, but the screen buggers up and the final screenshots are distorted..

I have an ATI x800 pro

someone help??

Capture at lets say 1024x768 and then do it from virtual dub in the final version widescreen its the same and better in my opinion, add filter resize and type the res

that doesn't work for me, imo it gives much worse quality than capturing from 960 ingame

Hm, I don't quite know HOW but I bet it's still helpful when I say: You have to add that resolution through your gfx-card. (It sounded to me like you added it through powerstrip?)

Lots of people here on style-productions.net know how to, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. :)
