Farmer Joe Tut 2 problem

#1 - 1. May 2007 09:56
Hello, i have a small problem when i do tutorial 2 of farmer Joe, that one with the shine effect (ellectric).
I have no problem till the very last minute.
When I render, I first get my text, then I get that blur effect, and then I get that ellectric effect, just like he says.
So i can see my movie renderen perfect in 3ds max, but when I look at my .bmp's in windows its just text without blur or ellectric effect. The same with .avi.
Thanks in advance.
And farmer Joe.. You're the best ! :p

Allright, make sure you have the "render output" in the very bottom of your render stack. Double check so that you don't have any arrows ( they create sub actions we don't want those ).

It should just be:

RENDER SCENE
CAMERA FX GLOW
RENDER OUTPUT

nothing else, if you sent a sceenshot of you videopost setup that would really help, but this sounds like a videopost problem.

Hugs n kisses

Yes, thats the problem. My last videopost setup is render output WITH an arrow. How can i remove that arrow?
If it isn't fixed after this I'll show a screenshot.
Thanks for quick reply m8
