I'd suggest removing the gradient and the space it consumes, will update the page with it and make it so that it can be restored if you don't like it.

Minor bug regarding the position of the site: visit each menu section and compare.
I.E. News vs Organisation. I also notice it when I am viewing a specific project and then going back to the project page. That could be related to that the Projects page has the wrong value and the rest are correct.

If we say the frontpage has the correct position/center value, the News section will have another position. Organisation section would be correct. Media correct. Community wrong.  Projects wrong. Contact correct. Support wrong. Guides correct. Forum wrong.

(Firefox, if that matters)

Dec, do you mean the center position being different on the various pages?

If so, could it be, that there is some correlation whether there is a scrollbar on the right or not?

If so, then it's not a bug, the browser centers the page on the client area and when there is a scrollbar, then the client area is different.

Hm a solution would be to always display a scrollbar whether or not the content needs to be scrolled using

body
{
overflow-y: scroll;
}

like it is on Facebook.

Requires CSS3 though:
w3.org wrote:
scroll
This value indicates that the content is clipped and that if the user agent uses a scrolling mechanism that is visible on the screen (such as a scroll bar or a panner), that mechanism should be displayed for a box whether or not any of its content is clipped. This avoids any problem with scrollbars appearing and disappearing in a dynamic environment. When this value is specified and the target medium is ‘print’, overflowing content may be printed.

But I'd wait on feedback of the site-owners whether or not to do that.
Edit: I already made the change and will revert it if they don't like it (there should always be an y-scrollbar or s.th. like that now (Depends on browser).

Not a bug, but I have found lots of duplicate images in the /images/media/screenshots folder, namely 8-43.gif, and unused (?) ones (204-211.gif). I assume some of them were used for testing the site when it was in development?

(Plus some of pava's football collections and a nice ass.)

When adding banners to articles, do you need to upload a new image every time to the server? Wouldn't it help if you could link to default banners to save some server space?

Example on default banners: Style | Movie News

There was a bug in the hasing function that I fixed (not affection security but still not nice enough), because of that you need to reset your passwords.
Sorry.
